Forget Roger Moore in space, this is a dramatisation of the novel. 1954. Millionaire industrialist Sir Hugo Drax has put up £10 million of his own money to fund "Moonraker", a nuclear armed rocket as a deterrent against Russia. M is puzzled however, because both he and Drax are members of the same club, where they play cards. Drax however, despite his wealth, cheats. The man must be a bounder and Bond is sent to Drax's rocket launch site in Kent, from which DRax plans a test firing...

1958, in a remote farm in Yorkshire. A group of children find a semi conscious man hiding in a barn. When they ask who he is, they mistake his muttered profanity - here is "Jesus Christ". Desperate that he should not be pursued by the authorities and crucified - as they have learned at Sunday school - they hide his existence from the grown ups. At the same time, the police are searching for a man who has murdered his wife and gone on the run. The two worlds will shortly collide.
